PAYMENT QUESTIONS

How can I pay? We accept MasterCard, Bankcard, Visa – you can pay in person or over the phone or you can send a cheque or deposit money directly into our account.

2. Cheque

Cheques can be made payable to BrakePoint and can be forwarded to; 48 Marcia St. Coffs Harbour NSW 2450. Please place all your details, name, address, phone number, drivers licence no., & most importantly the invoice details or item details if you have not yet received the parts.

3. Credit Card

We accept Master Card and Visa. Unfortunately we are unable to accept Diners Club International or American Express (AMEX) at this time.

4. Australia Post

Australia Post has a service that we can offer to our customers. We are able to send parts to you via Australia Post, who will post notice to you on receipt of the parcel. It is up to you to go to Australia Post and make payment for the goods including freight. Australia Post will give you the parcel and send us your payment without you having to send a cheque or pay by credit card.


FREIGHT QUESTIONS

How much is freight? This depends on the size and weight of the article and where it is being freighted. We have obtained the best prices for freight and will endeavour to outsource the cheapest freight method on your behalf.


GENERAL QUESTIONS

Q. Is that BrakePoint, Pedders Suspension & Aznu Sleeving?
A. Yes it is all 3 but we only answer as BrakePoint to make it simple.

Q. If I send my parts to be reconditioned how long will it take to get them back?
A.  As soon as we receive your parts are placed in our system and 99% of our work is processed same day and back on freight that afternoon or the next day. An exception to this rule is bonding.

Q. What days do you bond?
A. Our specialised bonding process takes place on Wednesday each week and we must receive your items before Wednesday morning.

Q. When can we pick up our bonded items?
A. Bonding is a process of – stripping the old materials off, cleaning up, gluing the linings, clamping the linings onto your component then placing in an extremely hot oven over a process period to ensure that the glues are cured to the right temperature.
Once the bond is taken from the oven, there is a cooling off period before we can unclamp the bond (similar to baking a cake) only your life doesn’t depend on a cake!

Q. If I drop my car off can I get a lift to work.
A. Yes we can drop you off to your place of work or destination as long as it is within the city radius. If you require a lift and it is further please ask us and we will endeavour to assist you with transport.

Q. What sort of cables do you make?
A. Any sort that requires a straight cable to a push pull cable. They suit automotive vehicles, cars, buses, trucks, trailers, and caravans etc., including boat trailers and marine cables, industrial equipment in the agriculture to mining industries.

Q. Can you do sports/racing brakes?
A. Yes certainly, we have the experience and expertise to be able to assist you with many of your racing needs. Backed up with first hand knowledge and experience from the team at BrakePoint who many have been in or been pit crew for many races.
